Beds of Hope

Why Beds? What does a bed provide? Safety, security, mental-emotional-spiritual rest. A small place of your own that’s not shared with 2-3 or 5 other people. A place off of the cold floor where scorpions, ticks, snakes, spiders, etc. have harder access.

Our goal is not only to provide these small spaces of sanctuary but to teach people the skills to read blueprints, follow directions, work with their hands, and build these beds on their own while being paid a fair wage.

Each bed includes a bible, and a verse is hand-burned into the wood on one of the bed posts. Some of our favorites include: Psalm 4:8, Matthew 11:28, Proverbs 3:24. Each is a labor of love and prayed over with God’s blessings and protection for that family. Learn more
